The Columbia River Bioregional Education Project mission is to promote a context of economic and social development which sustains the health and vital life of the native ecosystems of the Intermountain Northwest.

Columbiana Magazine has been published since 1987, addressing land and community in the upper Columbia River Bioregion, and is now Columbiana Online.

The 501(c)(3) organization founders have been engaged in public education and advocacy
on behalf of the Okanogan Highlands and the Similkameen and Okanogan Rivers since 1978.
